You need to strengthen your core and glute muscles with specific exercise. I work as a primary school teacher, and after a day on my feet with the kids, the middle of my back is very painful. I can't get comfortable anywhere but lying down. Would you recommend a belt to help out until I stop teaching in a month or so? What exercises could help?
Thanks,
GemmaGemhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04002132779355814643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8397452140861828393.post-86963924478223953982014-06-16T18:58:05.879+12:002014-06-16T18:58:05.879+12:00Hi Yell, Thats very ignorant of your doctor to not...Hi Yell, Thats very ignorant of your doctor to not even refer you to a physiotherapist, you will have a muscle imbalance which needs addressing with corrective exercise. I worked with a client through her pregnancies who had surgery to correct her scoliosis. Belts are not the answer as it could make your condition much worse. I would suggest you see a physiotherapist very soon Mummy Trainerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06014093929284127108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8397452140861828393.post-14234371222194271742014-06-11T13:19:27.990+12:002014-06-11T13:19:27.990+12:00I've been having really bad back pain on my ri...I've been having really bad back pain on my right side. My doctor suggested in 2 weeks to start wearing a prenatal belt. I have a very small pregnancy belly. (only gained 2 lbs from my start weight. originally lost 5 and am now 2 lbs heavier than start weight). I have previous back pain from scoliosis. Any suggestions? I had SPD with my first for the last month of my pregnancy, I had SPD with my second from 20weeks on it was horrible I was put on bed rest because I could hardly walk at all I managed to have both my kids naturally ( with moderations no laying straight on my back legs not up..but rather underneath me ect) This time around I want to find out if there is anything I can do in order to help myself before it gets to the point of bed rest and not being able to take care of my 4year old and 3year old. I'm already feeling the starting signs of SPD...I should also note that I have a broken tail bone that jars to the right so I cant do all exercise's.
