  5. Hi, I am 16 months post partum. I had three kids back to back (18mo) in between kids. When my third baby was 9 months old I started my exercise/diet routine and hit it hard. I lost my post baby weight and regained all my muscle. However, I always had and still have the bulging belly. I have a three finger gap above my belly button. But I didn't know anything about the TVA so I've been working hard on my core exercises...planks, crunches, etc. And I couldn't figure out why it seemed and felt as though my belly was growing instead of shrinking and getting stronger. What should I do now? Should I start by doing the TVA exercises that you've posted? What advice can you give me?

  6. Hi JetsMom, have a look at this awesome playlist I have put together on Youtube. It takes you through the test again and then shows more exercises to do and the ones to avoid. Let me know how you go. Lorraine

  7. Hi, I have a gap forming which we believe is the beginning of the abdomen muscles separating, and is causing a lot of pain. I'm only 25 weeks pregnant, is there any way slowing this down or preventing the gap from becoming too large? Or is it just a downward spiral until delivery where I can then work on closing the gap?
